Coming from a rich color producing line from her sire, Pines Edge Peruvian Wyldfyre, and a dynamite dam line (whose EPD numbers are in the top 1% in fiber weight for 2017, we might add), Amelia is one of those 'cornerstone' females you could easily build your herd around. Moonstruck boasts a great lineage, her own show wins, and most notably a history of awesome crias. When she arrived on our farm though, she was below-weight from a tooth abscess. With medical care, she kicked that issue and has had weight regain and good health since then. Moon had lost her cria born right after after she had arrived, possibly due to her stress and health depression. We were sad to lose this dark brown Chakotah boy, but know that nature's course is often the best. Then, her next beautiful pattern girl was also lost, likely due to the fact that it was from an accidental breeding to her half brother Campion. We bought Moonstruck for her fantastic bloodlines from a retiring suri farm with many champions and and notable bloodlines. Moonstruck's fantastic crias were a large part of our selection of her.

Born in the morning, Sunrise was a healthy 18.5lbs of dark fibered beauty! Such a sweetie and stunning fiber. We are so looking forward to seeing what this girl can produce, now that she has grown into a sweet, nicely locked dam. She is so sweet and gentle, that we call her Sunny not just as a nickname but because of her disposition. Her first cria was a stunning, lustrous and dense copper brown male that we named Starlord because he was that special. We had high hopes to one day take him into the show ring but lost him suddenly as a weanling due to a hard flu that passed through the area. He was the spitting image of her at birth.

Monico is a sweetheart, always wanting a kiss even when she is pregnant. When we saw Monico on her Stone Brook Farm's listing, we we enthralled with her 2010 white female cria, Mandolin, by Bruxo's Legolastone for her impressive coverage and density. From Stone Brook Farm's listing: "Saber’s Monico is an exceptional female with fantastic coverage of light locks and luster from her nose to her toes. Monico is a daughter of Peruvian Saber (Grandson of Accoyo Baron) and Windrider’s Zoe [and the 2010 Futurity Reserve Herdsire of the Year]. Monico’s dam, Windrider’s Zoe, is a solid female with fantastic regrowth and coverage... Monico's sire, Meadowgate Peruvian Saber, is a rich medium brown male with fantastic luster and locks. Monico came to our farm with a small, lightly draining hole on the bottom of her jaw. She is the opposite of skinny being above average in weight on a well-developed frame. Monico didn't breed for us that first year, due to a combination of weather/timing and our seasonal breeding schedule. At our vet's advice we gave antibiotics and just watched her drainage hole since surgeries are so dangerous and she has never had issues keeping weight on. In the last several years there hasn't really been anything to watch and in the last few years she's been closed up. As far as we can tell she doesn't have any jaw or teeth issue Her first cria for us was a brilliant and fine light fawn male we named Firefall. He has kept his fineness and locking well into his maturity! The next year we tried to breed her to a colored herdsire from the Northwest, but we lost the cria at its birth -- a terrible loss of a beautiful light brown well-covered and locked male. Later, Monico surprised us with a beautiful light brown female that we named Caught By Surprise! We thought she had not taken based on spit testing. She did a great job managing her pregnancy and was a great mom to her locky little girl! This girl has a lovely greasy feel, tight little locks, and a wonderful luster!

Son of the 2018 Suri Herdsire of the Year and out of a multiple champion Peruvian Rockstar daughter, Rockefeller comes from impeccable suri genetics. His EPD numbers are outstanding: Rockefeller is ranked in the top 1% for mean staple length, the top 10% for fiber weight, and the top 25% for average fiber diameter, spin fineness, % of fibers over 30 microns, and % of medullated fibers. What this means is that there's a very good chance that this male will improve the amount of fiber on his offspring while maintaining a fine, uniform fleece. Definitely not what we were expecting with this pairing, but gosh, what a pretty young male WC has turned out to be. His fiber displays exceptional luster, good lock structure, and great consistency from side to side. WC's sire is a multiple champion gray Silver Stone son and his dam is pasture candy at its finest with the genetics to back up her good looks. This guy is going to make someone an amazing fiber producer, show prospect, or a wildcard junior herdsire.

A stunning true black son of MMALP Beau's Damion, a Black Beau son out of Eagle Valley Zambia and the National and Futurity Champion, WLK Sangria. His first cria is a delicious dark chocolate male out of a Double Dutch Champion producer!

We were thrilled to add to our herd his own fine, lustrous, well-locked fiber qualities. This is not surprising when you consider Laszlo's lineage. Laszlo demonstrated his lineage by a significant gathering of ribbons, including champion and/or special Judge's selection placings. He is sired by the Chakotah's Wyuna, in turn the son of Chakotah, son of Kahuna. These males are the examples of the elite males from Pucara that builds Laszlo's pedigree. Both Chakotah and Kahuna, and now Wyuna, are pivotal males in the suri industry with several Get of Sire and Herdsire of the Year awards among them. Laszlo's dam is Miss Accoyo La Perla of PVA and is from Park View's breeding program -- whose strides in the alpaca business impacted farms across the nation. Her dam is the daughter of black champion herdsire Diamonte of PVA, who is the son of Kobe of PVA. Again, both males have been instrumental in shaping the suri industry, especially with consideration to dark and black colors, and remain active in breeding programs today.
